NETGroup Solutions commenced operations in 1987, and currently employs a multi-skilled work force of over 150 people, comprising of engineers, business consultants, financial specialists, process analysts and information systems specialists. We are a wholly owned South African Group with 30% shareholding held by Shanduka Energy (Pty) Ltd.

Our management consulting division has developed leading-edge services and solutions in the fields of utility turn-around management, restructuring, spatially-based demand forecasting, infrastructure planning / refurbishment / reliability, capital expenditure planning, financial modeling, tariff analysis and asset valuations.

Our engineering consulting division specializes in engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for utility wires businesses, industries and private developers (both green field and brown field projects). They also offer specialized testing, auditing and commissioning / re-commissioning services to the protection and metering market.

Our retail operations management division specializes in customer, meter, billing and collection management solutions within the electricity retail market. They have developed state of the art field to office technologies to assist with data capturing, data quality checking and data portability.

Our training division, operating under the brand name of ETSA (Electricity Training South Africa), offers skill development and skill enhancement courses to the electricity market.
